Four men are due in court today in connection with a firearms seizure in Dublin last week.

A loaded Berretta pistol and a silencer were recovered on Monday by gardaí targeting gangland crime in the city.

Two men were arrested at the scene while two others were picked up in the south inner city.

They were questioned on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, and are all due before Dublin District Court later.
