An army bomb disposal unit has made safe a pipe bomb at a house in Limerick city.
The bomb was thrown into the front of the house on West Singland Road, Garryowen at around 11.30 this morning.

A family, including children, who were in the house at the time, were unharmed.
Gardaí believe a drugs gang may be behind the attack - and are investigating whether it might be linked to two pipe-bombings last night at houses in Kennedy Park.
