A driver in Washington has been caught trying to pull off perhaps one of the cheekiest motoring deceptions of all time.
In an attempt to use the carpool lane – which is off limits to drivers without passengers – this Washington driver made a bold attempt to pull off the two man look while driving solo, reports USA Today.
He was pulled over by a police officer who noticed that his passenger was in fact a life-size cardboard cut-out. But it wasn’t just any cardboard cut-out – it was “The Most Interesting Man in the World”, the face of the Dos Equis beer ads.
State patrol spokesperson Trooper guy Gill later tweeted: "I don't always violate the HOV lane law ... but when I do, I get a $124 ticket. We'll give him an A for creativity."
