As part of our Scottish themed week, Altered Images frontwoman Clare Grogan joined Tom Dunne on Tuesday night's show.

The musician has recently made headlines for her authorship of children's books.

"I really like the idea of using my experience to tell an inspiring story because I genuinely feel very passionate about empowering young people,' she explained.

But what about Altered Images?

"For me it's all reinvented itself again because I'm involved in doing some shows, doing the Altered Images songs, which is not something I ever imagined would happen. It seemed kind of preposterous at my age to be singing Happy Birthday, Don't Talk to Me About Love, or whatever, but people love it".
