Mel Gibson is looking for Irish women to join the cast of his new film.
The Hollywood actor and director - who famously shot Braveheart in the foothills of Wicklow, Kildare and Meath - is back in Ireland to star in Farhad Safinia’s latest feature, The Professor and the Madman.
Safinia previously worked with Gibson on Apocalypto.
The period production starring Gibson, alongside Game of Thrones actress Natalie Dormer and Oscar winner Sean Penn, takes in the story behind the creation of the Oxford English Dictionary.
Cameras are set to roll on the production at the start of October with shooting to take place in Wicklow and Dublin throughout October and November.
The casting call is for Caucasian women between the ages of 20 and 60-years-old.
However, the producers are after a very particular look with a ban on “fake tan or nails,” “obvious tattoos,” “plucked/shaved eyebrows,” “shaved heads or undercuts” and “body decorations.”
According to the call, hair must be medium or long in length and of natural colour, and the actresses must have a waist size of 26-28 and a bust of 34-36.
