Following on from Enda's air guitar at Bruce Springsteen this Friday, another Irish auld lad honed in on some action with The Boss at his gig at Croke Park on Sunday.
Bono joined the E Street Band for a rendition of the Patti Smith song, 'Because the Night', which Springsteen originally wrote for his own album, Darkness on the Edge of Town, before giving it to Patti Smith bring for her own album, Easter.

Similarly, Springsteen's song 'Blinded by the Light' was originally written and recorded by the Boss, but found greater chart success when it was covered by Manfred Mann's Earth Band.
Bono, Smith and Springsteen all performed the track collectively at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 25th Anniversary Concert on October 29, 2009.
