A 20-year-old Australian man has been posting regular updates on Facebook showing his recovery from a bad reaction to ecstasy pills.
Jordy Hurdes offers a stark warning in a video posted on his page: “It all seems like fun and games and a cheap $25 pill but it’s not worth it,” adding, “Be the stronger person and say no to the drugs.”
He said in he isn’t looking for sympathy and has asked people not to get sucked in to buying cheap drugs.
(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));
Thank you so much for the love and support from everyone. I honestly can not believe how much the post has gone viral. Please share this video. The more that can see this. The more lives can be saved

Hurdes says the party scene in Australia is “pretty big these days” and so is ecstasy, also known as “pingers”.
He wanted to share his story about what happened and let people know the effect it has had on his family and friends.
The Australian has asked people to share the video to increase awareness of the negative effects of drugs. It comes after a previous written post about the incident.
