Armed men have killed 140 people in Ethiopia, near the border with South Sudan in the Gambela region.
The Ethiopian government says it may send troops into neighbouring south Sudan, after a massacre that claimed the lives of 140 people.
Gunmen went on the rampage in the Gambela region, killing men women and children, with reports that they have also kidnapped 39 children.
According to the BBC, Communications Minister Getachew Reda said that security forces have chased the attackers, who they believe to be part of South Sudan's Murle tribe, and have killed 60 so far.
However, Reda added that it the attackers are "not thought to have any links to the South Sudanese government or rebels".
