It took Conor McGregor just 13 seconds in the early hours of Sunday morning to dispel any doubt about his credentials as one of the biggest – if not the biggest – stars of the UFC.

The stunning and emphatic nature of the Dubliner’s victory over Jose Aldo would almost make you forget just how charged the build-up to the fight was.

McGregor’s ring walk was a moment fraught with that anticipation and tension. As Sinéad O’Connor’s The Foggy Dew swelled to the rafters of the MGM grand and rolled into the belly of the grand old arena a video montage of McGregor – and his fans – played out on the big screens.

But it seems somebody at the UFC failed to properly audit the video, as one keen-eyed Redditor has spotted a slight imperfection in one scene of the entrance montage. And it’s probably one of the more Dublin oddities you’re likely to find gracing a Vegas big-screen.

In July of 2014 Sin nightclub, in Temple Bar, had honoured McGregor with a mural of the world champion, flanked by his now famous saying “We’re not here to take part, we’re here to take over.”

But since then it seems that someone added to the artwork, scribbling on to it a bit of classic Dublin graffiti/obscenity. And that ‘updated’ version made the cut of the UFC’s entrance video. (It's just above the yellow spot below, on McGregor's stomach.)

You can see it in the video that played during McGregor's entrance in the video below at about 10 seconds in.
