Israel's army says its forces have shot dead two Palestinians who allegedly stabbed and wounded a soldier in the West Bank.
In a statement, the army said "an initial inquiry suggests an additional soldier was injured as a result of the fire directed toward the attackers".
The Palestinian health ministry says the two were relatives, and aged 17 and 23.
Separately, Reuters reports that earlier today a Palestinian man was arrested after stabbing and wounding a soldier.
Around 130 Palestinians have been killed since early October, with Israeli authorities having described a majority as assailants.
20 Israelis have also been killed.
The violence has been driven by Palestinian anger over Israel's occupation of the West Bank and disputes over access to the Al Aqsa mosque compound in the Old City of Jerusalem. Israel has blamed Palestinians for the outbreak of violence.
