Key witness takes the stand in Ian Bailey case

Marie Farrell, a key witness in Ian Bailey's wrongful arrest action against the State and gardai, resumes her evidence in the High Court tomorrow morning at 11.

Farrell is expected to testify that gardai pressurised her into giving statements placing the former journalist near the scene of Sophie Toscan du Plantier's murder.

When Ms Du Plantier left and walked up the road the man followed her, Farrell told the court. She said the man was wearing a long black coat and a black beret but was "not Ian Bailey".
