Panti Bliss, one of the leading campaigners for the Yes vote in the marriage referendum, posted some mail she received on Twitter that has been causing a bit of a stir.

The envelope contained two letters, which were printed in an edition of the Ireland's Eye publication, and are from two voters who are particularly unhappy with the 'Yes' campaign's win.

The first letter is from "one of the 734,300 people who voted no", while the second claims that by voting Yes, the Irish people are "promoting AIDS".

Panti posted the mail both on Twitter and on Facebook, stating that "as always with these things, the sender is anonymous. (and still ragin' that the YES won)".

The first letter closes with the author stating that they wished to address the representatives in Dáil Éireann and ask them "are you being advised by idiots or Satanists? Your political actions regarding these two issues are endangering the salvation of souls and the reputation of our beloved Christian nation".

The second letter states that all those who voted Yes need to "rethink about the consequences of that vote [...] since homosexuality can lead to the life-threatening disease of AIDS, why be an enabler in this respect?".
