Ever since a giant Minion roamed loose in Santry, causing chaos in the Dublin suburb, authorities have been on high alert for Minion-related threats.
Today, security at Dublin Airport seized a Minion fart gun from a child.
They took the toy, which emits a banana like smell when fired, as no replica guns of any kind are allowed on flights.
A Dublin airport spokesperson said they would keep the toddlers toy for the time being and make contact with the family later.
The kid's mother Daire Fitzpatrick said that staff were apologetic, but the toy was a present for her son:
