It is being reported that Australian born ISIS member Abu Khaled al-Cambodi has been killed.

While the Syrian government have yet to confirm his death due to security reasons, al-Cambodi was a high-ranking recruiter for ISIS, and can be seen front and centre in the video below for attacks against Australia.

His death is reported close on the heels of three other high-ranking members of ISIS being killed by a mystery sniper in January.

Previous victims include ISIS commander Abdullah Hamad Al-Ansari, who was shot as he left a mosque on January 23rd.

Now being dubbed the "Daesh Hunter", its still unknown if the sniper is one person, a group of people, or merely a string of deaths unrelated being strung together by coincidence.

However, the mystery sniper is being touted a hero by locals, drawing comparisons to Jude Law's character in Enemy At The Gates, which due to it's very familiar plot-line - a Soviet sniper takes out some of Hitler's high-ranking men during the Battle Of Stalingrad - and has resulted in the movie becoming hugely popular in the region.

A contrasting report states that the citizens of Sirte may simply be conjuring up an urban legend in order to fight their oppressors in a psychological manner.
