Some people say it's best to just ignore haters, while others suggest killing them with kindness. But sometimes, it's hard to do either which is how George Hook felt when he was on the receiving end of some hate mail today.

The presenter spoke recently about how he had been in a car accident which prompted one listener to send him a note commenting: "Too bad your head wasn't between the bumpers. It might have improved your slurring and dropped words."

The postcard (which can be viewed below), which features a picture of Osama Bin Laden on the front, was sent to George's home address. Its author also instructed him to "stay in bed your Freak... you are a disgrace to broadcasting a complete babbling imbecile".

Upon opening The Right Hook today, the presenter admitted that being on the receiving end of such hate mail leaves him "feeling shook", branding the sender "an anonymous coward" on his Twitter acount.

This isn't the first time George has had to deal with negative feedback. Back in March this year, he received a handwritten letter describing him as "a failure as a person. Bad businessman. Brutal husband and even worse father".

The "hate mail" struck a chord with George who decided to speak out to any listener who might be dealing with bullying or threatening messages.
