Tech firm Asavie to create more than 100 jobs in Dublin

A technology firm is creating 106 positions in the capital.

Asavie will bring the jobs on stream over the next two and a half years across a variety of roles in engineering, sales, product management, marketing and support.

It is looking to expand its internet of things (IoT) and mobile management platforms. This project is supported by the Department of Jobs through Enterprise Ireland.

The company's clients include telecoms providers such as AT&T, eir, Three, Telefonica and Vodafone and network routing firm, Cradlepoint.

Welcoming the announcement, Jobs Minister Richard Bruton, said: "Asavie's announcement today provides a great example of what we are trying to do. Here is a highly innovative Irish company, developing ground-breaking technologies in Dublin, working with world-leading multinationals and adding large numbers of jobs here".

While Ralph Shaw, Asavie CEO, said: "We have experienced phenomenal growth over the past few years. This latest evolution of the company builds on the success of Asavie’s world-class technology; our talented team, the strength of our global partnerships and the huge demand from companies to secure and control the costs of their mobility and innovative IoT projects as they scale".

Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Dublin - with offices in the UK, Germany, Spain and the United States - the company currently employs 80 people.

Asavie was also recently announced a Deloitte Technology Fast 50 2015 winner and received the inaugural Deloitte Fast 50 New Technology Innovation Award in association with Google.
