Divisions have emerged within the coalition about whether the question of a 'right to die' should be considered by a constitutional convention.
Enda Kenny has already agreed that a new forum should be set up to examine issues like abortion, and whether the 8th amendment should be repealed.
But he says he doesn't see any role for that forum also considering whether the constitution should allow other measures such as allowing a right to die.
