The Irish Fiscal Advisory Council has said that the Government will have just €600 million to either increase spending or reduce taxes in October's budget - and that would be after existing commitments are taken into account.

They say that if the Government sticks to its plans, a total of €2.8bn in additional measures could be included in the budget.

Ivan wondered whether the Government listens to the Council, and their Chair Seamus Coffey gave him the answers.
