Gaming giant Electronic Arts, the company behind EA FC, The Sims and Mass Effect, has been taken private in a $55 billion takeover led by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund. The deal has sparked debate about the future of one of the world's biggest games publishers, with questions over creative freedom, jobs, monetisation and Saudi Arabia's growing influence in the global gaming industry.
