The clever people over at Cinefix, who specialise in retrograding your favourite blockbusters as 8-bit computer games, have just gone down the rabbit hole and released their take on the Wachowskis' 1999 classic The Matrix.

If 8-bit knock-offs of your favourite movies are a bit too lowbrow for you, this one has a rather meta meatiness to it, as it involves using a computer-generated world to remake a film that was all about a computer-generated world.
