From the camogie pitch to the Mater hospital, how one schoolfriend helped another through cancer. Carmel was diagnosed with bowel and lung cancer and referred to the mater hospital from 2015-2020. While in the matter she was treated by surgeons, one of who was a school friend, Prof Ann Brannigan. Both Carmel and Ann joined Pat in the studio this morning.
