Although Ireland has improved significantly when it comes to accessibility for people with disabilities in public buildings, there are still some challenges that the elderly, the blind, and those with mobility problems, face both here and whilst they are abroad travelling.

Joining me now in studio to highlight some of these issues are Kevin Kelly, Head of Policy, Advocacy and Campaigns with The National Council for the Blind of Ireland and Joe Bowden who has diabetes which led to part of his foot being amputated, who attended the Heineken Champions Cup final at St. James Park in Newcastle last Saturday and came across some issues getting to his seat.
