Figures released today by Daft.ie show that in Dublin, the average rent has risen above €2,000 – with rent increasing in the capital for the 31st consecutive quarter in a row.  

Although rent in Dublin only rose by 6.8% compared to the same time last year, there were double-digit increases in Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford.
