New research  from the ESRI and Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission found that, when it comes to minority groups in Ireland, people often say one thing openly but actually think something else.

People were asked about their views on Black or Muslim people coming to Ireland, and while people we more likely to be supportive of the former, especially when they had to make their support public, it was not the case for Muslims as people were less receptive to Muslims coming to Ireland, in both private and public.

Amanullah De Sondy, Head of Study of Religions & Senior Lecturer in Contemporary Islam at UCC joined Mark Cagey to discuss his thoughts.
