Kieran was joined by Gavin Dowd for ‘In Our Defence’,for a deeper look at what might seem like a peculiar legal case in history, and find out what impact it might have had on public life.

This week Gavin discusses the case of Meath County Council v Murray. The Murray family had applied for planning permission to build a 3,000 square foot home near Navan in Co Meath. Planning permission was refused, but they went ahead and built a home which was double the size. They were pursued by the County Council who sought an order of demolition for the home.
