The Irish Road Haulage Association has been calling for a single entity to take charge of the free movement of traffic from ports ahead of Brexit.

It’s as they appeared before the Oireachtas Transport Committee today.

The smooth transport of goods remains one of the difficulties that will come with Brexit, and Tom Thornton, who is the Brexit spokesperson for the Irish International Freight Association, joined Kieran on Wednesday's edition of The Hard Shoulder; as did Verona Murphy, who is Independent TD for Wexford and former President of the Irish Road Haulage Association.
