President of the Garda Representative Association Niall Hodgins has said that frontline gardaí may not be fully trained in pursuit driving until 2028. It comes after Gardaí have confirmed that they have been liaising with Devon and Cornwall Police, and the UK College of Policing, to receive vehicle pursuit training.
