An Tánaiste, Micheál Martin said there needs to be an “honest debate” about how far the Government goes to deal with historical wrongs by the State, speaking in the Dáil yesterday. He said the government should consider the issues of the day compared with historical failings. Gerard Craughwell, Independent Senator spoke to Ciara with his view on this issue.
