The Religious Sisters of Charity have declared their departure from healthcare after more than two centuries, in a move to clear the way for the new National Maternity Hospital to be built at the Elm Park site in Dublin.

Joining Aideen to discuss this development was  Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist and Former Master of the Rotunda Hospital, Professor Sam Coulter Smith. Also Co-leader of the Social Democrats, Roisin Shortall gave her reaction to this move.
