Last week, The Department of Health forecasted 1,800 to 2,200 cases a day and 80 to 100 deaths by the end of this month, if new restrictions don’t have an effect on the spread of the virus. So where do these figures come from? The man behind the numbers joined us on the show Professor Philip Nolan, chair of the NPHET Irish Epidemiological Modelling Advisory Group.
