The Italian Competition Authority has announced an investigation into Sephora and Benefit Cosmetics over the alleged use of “covert marketing strategies” to promote beauty products to young girls.

Experts warn that such practices may be contributing to a growing and unhealthy fixation on skincare among minors, often referred to as “cosmeticorexia”...
