President Michael D Higgins last night signed the Mother and Baby Homes Bill into law which will seal records for 30 years. 

There has been much confusion and anger about this decision, with survivor and adoption groups calling for the Government to make the information public. 

But did the government have their hands tied? Or could they have done more? And more importantly, what impact is all this having on the families 

Andrea was joined by Clodagh Malone, who was is a survivor of the Mother and Baby Homes and many listeners.
