Firefighters from Rathfarnham and Dún Laoghaire tackled a gorse wildfire in Glencullen on the Dublin mountains over the bank holiday weekend. The wildfire has “died down considerably” after reigniting yesterday.

More than 25 firefighters and other agencies had fought a blaze in the area on July 31st, which was brought under control, and it’s not yet known how the fire reignited.
