Newstalk's Claire Byrne addressed her inclusion in the latest RTÉ pay controversy as fresh questions emerged over presenter earnings at the broadcaster.

The renewed scrutiny follows RTÉ’s admission that Derek Mooney should have appeared on previous top earners lists. The Public accounts committee is also querying the use of taxpayer's money by RTÉ to send 41 staff and contractors to Czechia for the World Cup play-off semi-final.
