HSE mental health centres can't provide therapy to many patients due to understaffing. From a report in the Irish Examiner  people with very serious mental health needs, including psychosis and suicidal distress are not getting the full range of therapeutic treatment that they need. 

To discuss this further with Claire was Liam Quaide, the Social Democrats TD for Cork East and a Clinical Psychologist.
