A familiy liason officer has been appointed to support the family of a four-year-old girl, who died at a caravan park in Sligo yesterday.

Emergency services rushed to the scene at Enniscrone after the young girl was hit by a vehicle.

She was taken to University Hospital Sligo, where she later passed away.
