'The Good Wife' spin-off show will debut in February
The first trailer had debuted for The Good Fight, the forthcoming spin-off of The Good Wife, which will premiere on American streaming service CBS All Access on February 19th.
The show brings back some of the cast of Robert and Michelle King’s award-winning legal drama, with events taking place a year after the finale of the Julianna Margulies show. The new series centres its action around a huge financial scam that has destroyed the professional reputation of a young lawyer (Rose Leslie), while wiping out Diane Lockhart’s retirement fund, with Christine Baranski returning to the role as the veteran attorney.
Forced out of Lockhart & Lee, the two join Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo) at a rival Chicago law firm.
The cast is rounded put by Delroy Lindo, Erica Tazel, Justin Bartha, and Sarah Steele, returning as Marissa Gold. Take a look at the trailer in full below:
