The winger was called up to the Ireland squad but it was in the knowledge that he was likely to miss out
Hull City have said that Ireland winger Robbie Brady is set to be out of action for a month.
The club have confirmed that the in-form 21-year-old will undergo surgery on a hernia problem later this afternoon.
Brady has already been ruled-out of Ireland's upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Germany and Kazakhstan.
Hull have also revealed that Brady has been playing through the problem for a number of weeks, but the injury has now become too painful to cope with.
