Garda cars, an articulated truck, motorbikes, a hiace van, and a flat bed truck all accompanied a cavalcade of vehicles bringing the victorious Healy-Rae brothers home.

Michael and Danny, sons of Jackie, both had a successful weekend, winning huge support from the people of Kerry to be returned to the Dáil.

Michael Haely-Rae was already a sitting TD, but Cllr Danny Healy-Rae will be a newcomer to Leinster House.

The siblings spoke to Newstalk's Healy-Rae siblings about hot topics like, will they share a bed in Dublin.

Danny Healy-Rae said the brothers had asked for number one and two votes across the constituency, stating that they could give the parties a lesson in vote management.

Michael Healy Rae said: "We're very humbled, deeply humbled, by the massive vote we're after getting yesterday.
