A young Irish boy is not letting the coronavirus pandemic get in the way of his goalkeeping training, and his efforts are going viral.

Nathan Fanagan is an only-child from Tallaght in Dublin and he is self-isolating to help stop the spread of Covid-19.

The 11-year-old has been filmed in his back garden kicking the ball off the garden fence and rushing back to goals to keep it out of the back of the net.

The video was posted at 3pm today and so far it has been retweeted by Manchester United keeper David de Gea and watched more than 2 million times.

It has also been shared by ESPN, Sky Sports and Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel.
