A further 11,380 people have contracted COVID-19 in Ireland today, the Department of Health has confirmed. 

4,423 people were diagnosed after taking PCR tests, while 6,957 people registered positive antigen tests with the HSE. 

803 people in hospital have tested positive for the virus - of whom 51 are being treated in intensive care.

The five day moving average now stands at 7,914 - up slightly from 7,395 yesterday.
