An investigation's been launched into an assault near a Dublin Dart station.

A woman was attacked at about 8.30 last night on Quinns Road in Shankill.

It's understood the woman had been followed as she walked home.

She didn't suffer any injuries in the incident - however Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.

Another assault was reported to have occurred near that same DART station on January 3rd this year.
