A 69-year-old woman has died following a road crash in Dublin.

The pedestrian had suffered serious injuries after being struck by a car on Thursday morning.

The collision happened on the Grange Road in Donaghmede at around 10am.

Gardaí said a coroner was notified after the woman passed away in Beaumont Hospital yesterday evening.
