One of the world's most successful musicals is returning to the Dublin stage.

It was previously seen by over 130,000 people during its Irish premiere engagement in 2013.

Acclaimed as "a magical mystery tour through the fantasyland of Oz" by the London Evening Standard, Wicked tells the story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two students and their adventures in Oz.

This will ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda, The Good, and Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West.

Based on the acclaimed, best-selling novel by Gregory Maguire, 'Wicked' is already the 17th longest running show in London West End theatre history.

Around the world, it has been seen by over 50 million people in 15 countries, and won over 100 major awards.
