Seventeen years today, The West Wing aired for the first time, so this sort-of-anniversary reunion to help decide who the next President of the United States might be has a nice ring to it.

Most of the primary cast of the the hit TV show will be in Ohio on September 24th and 25th to campaign for Hillary Clinton at a number of high profile venues.

According to a campaign press release, "Toby, C.J., Josh, Charlie, Will, and Kate (a.k.a. actors Richard Schiff, Allison Janney, Bradly Whitford, Dulé Hill, Joshua Malina and Mary McCormack) will participate in grassroots organizing events across Ohio with stops in the Mahoning Valley, Cleveland, Sandusky and Toledo areas on Saturday and in the Dayton and Columbus areas on Sunday.

"The actors will discuss why they are supporting Clinton and urge Ohioans to register to vote ahead of the October 11 deadline and to get involved in organizing their communities ahead of November’s election."

There is one obvious exception missing, but Martin "President Bartlett" Sheen has already done his bit for the election, appearing in the recent Save The Day video alongside lots and lots of other famous people, as he informs us that "We cannot pretend both sides are equally unfavourable".

Some of the actors have already taken to Twitter to announce their excitement for the days of campaigning:
