Wednesday's weather: Mild but breezy day with scattered outbreaks of rain

Very mild but mostly cloudy and breezy today, windy near west and northwest coasts. Scattered outbreaks of rain, locally heavy with hill and coastal fog. Dry periods as well, especially in eastern areas this morning with some bright spells in places and becoming generally drier in western areas later today.

Afternoon highs of 13 to 15 degrees Celsius in fresh and gusty southerly winds.


Mostly dry this evening and early tonight apart from patchy drizzle. Rain locally heavy will return for a time overnight to parts of the south and east but will clear again by morning.

Mild and misty with overnight lows of 7 to 10 degrees Celsius and winds will fall off light.
