You may be waking up to dry weather this morning, but unfortunately rain is on the way for most places later.
Met Éireann says it will be generally cloudy and misty for the majority of Sunday with showers becoming widespread.
Some of the showers are expected to be heavy also with prolonged downpours in places and some isolated thunderstorms.
There is a small bit of good news though, as the day will bring a few bright or sunny breaks and temperatures will range from 15 to 19 degrees.
Overall it will feel close and humid and it may even reach 20 degrees in the East of the country.
Those living in Munster and Leinster should expect some wind, as fresh to strong breezes blow in from the southwest.
Tonight
The rain will continue into the early part of the night, but clearer weather will develop later.
Overnight temperatures will remain up, with lows of 11 to 14 degrees.
Outlook
The coming week isn't looking too bad, with less rain and some sunny spells and scattered showers.
The heavy rain appears to be gone, but more humid and warm weather will reappear later in the week.
