The experience promises to “prey on your deepest fears and nightmares”
A new walk-through horror event pledging to “prey on your deepest fears and nightmares” is opening its doors in Dublin tonight.
The Nightmare Realm has been running in Cork for nine years – and is now entering its second year in Dublin.
Organisers have warned those brave enough to enter to “keep their wits about them” with danger lurking behind every shadow.
The immersive experience promises to take guests through three spine-tingling haunts with gruesome sets, props and characters ready to bring your nightmares to life.
Almost 100 actors have been hired to staff the event and event director Karl O’Connor has pledged to test guests “to your very core.”
“We push people outside their comfort zone, challenge their expectations, and scare the hell out of them,” he said. “If you pee in your pants, we don’t care.”
Guests will be asked to brave a house full of demented, chainsaw wielding clowns; a nightmare hostel and the “Gruber Asylum for the criminally insane.”
Meanwhile, 'Charlie's Army of the Dead' will be roaming throughout all three venues aiming to enlist guests into the fight for an independent Nightmare Realm state.
The experience opens tonight at the RDS in Dublin and runs until the 5th November.
The Cork experience is running from October 6th to November 5th at Kennedy Quay in the city.
