Irish star Hozier made a surprise appearance at Electric Picnic on Saturday afternoon as he covered a David Bowie classic.

The weather was not the best on the day as it bucketed down, but fans were treated to a special guest joining the Trinity Orchestra on stage that made them forget that they were up to their knees in mud.

Covering Bowie's iconic 'Heroes,' Hozier joined the Trinity Orchestra and got a huge reception on stage.

The Orchestra also played other songs from Bowie during their time on stage, and kept the crowd entertained with versions of 'Let's Dance' and 'Changes'.

The Trinity Orchestra weren't the only orchestra causing waves at Electric Picnic either, as the RTÉ Concert Orchestra blew the crowd away on Friday night alongside Jenny Greene with their versions of some classic '90s dance songs.
