Bernie Sanders spoke to a packed Safeco Field in Seattle on Friday night in one of, if not the biggest campaign rally of the presidential election.

Figures suggest that the lower deck of the field, which can seat 20,000, was packed with more still outside waiting to enter, and that it may have even broken the record for the biggest rally of the campaign to date, surpassing the crowd of 30,000 that appeared at a Donald Trump rally in Alabama last year.

The moment that drew the biggest cheer of the night was when a bird landed on the stage alongside the Democratic presidential hopeful.

After the audience pointed that out to Sanders, he turned his attention to it, and the winged spectator flew up to join him on the lectern, much to the delight of those in attendance.

The moment has already been immortalised in the form of a t-shirt, which you can now buy online for those who are so inclined.
